I’m a man, and I had consultations at two places today. I’m thinking of just going to one more place tomorrow and then ending the consultations, but I guess you really do need to go to multiple places for consultations. What I was concerned about and wanted to change were my asymmetrical nostrils and columella, and for revision of the nasal tip, I wanted to improve nasal function and achieve a natural shape. But one of the clinics I visited went in a different direction from what I had wanted. Rather, while frequently touching my current nose, which I had been worried about in terms of the nasal septum, nasal function, and appearance, the doctor quickly identified the issues I had been thinking about and said that doing only the nasal tip on this kind of nose could create more problems... They said the radix area was good, and they explained the cause of the deviated septum and asymmetrical nostrils, as well as a solution for breathing function. They kept saying that it would really be good to put silicone in the nasal bridge, and they examined me with so much care that it almost changed my values. I’m still unsure, though... I really regret why I got my primary rhinoplasty so thoughtlessly after consulting with only one clinic and just went ahead with the surgery... Thinking about how that ruined my breathing function, the shape, and the clinic’s follow-up care gives me PTSD... This experience made me realize that you really do need to meet a surgeon who is a good fit for you. I think the advice to visit at least 3 to 4 places for consultations is really true.
