I had a 13-year-old short L-shaped Silitex removed, ear cartilage removed, and nasal tip cartilage repositioning. After deciding to remove it, I had a consultation on Monday and felt so anxious and scared.. I wanted to remove it quickly, so I booked the earliest available day and had it done today~ I was scared and nervous, so I was really frightened, but the nurse kindly reassured me and told me it was okay, so I was able to have the surgery comfortably. It was under sedation, so there was no pain. The surgery took about an hour, and I lay in the recovery room for about an hour? before leaving. (At first they said the surgery time would be 30-40 minutes, but there was more inflammation than expected, so I think it took a bit longer.) I haven't met the doctor yet, but the nurse showed me the removed L-shaped silicone, inflamed tissue, capsule, and scar tissue, and told me it was removed well. They said there was more inflammation and scar tissue than expected ㅠㅠ I hadn't even imagined it.. I'm shocked ㅠㅠ Anyway, I think it's a relief that the surgery I was worried about ended well ㅠ Blood is flowing from my nose, and they said it may continue until tomorrow. Right now the inside of my nose is throbbing a little ㅠ Since they said the inflammation was severe... I'm worried about contracture ㅜ For reference, I had it done at Hongdae ㄱㅇㅅ. For those who are worried because of surgery, it's scary because it's vague and uncertain.. but it doesn't hurt or anything, so I don't think you need to worry too much! If you have any questions, send me a private message and I'll let you know~^^
