Hello, I got a lot of help from this community and chose a hospital, and had surgery yesterday. Maybe because it’s a place many people have gone to, it somehow feels more familiar (it’s in Hongdae~) Anyway, I had surgery 5 years ago with Surgiform (Gore-Tex) + ear cartilage, but inflammation became severe starting about 2 weeks ago, so I had it removed. I wondered if it was too hasty a decision, but after consulting with the doctor, it turned out my nose had been lifting up without me even realizing itㅜㅜ So before it got worse, I just had total removal + cartilage repositioning The surgery was done under sedation, but they woke me up in the middleㅜㅜ Of course, I was anesthetized so it wasn’t extremely painful, but I still shouted that it hurt a bit. I was sorry because the doctor needed to concentrate, but it did hurtㅜㅜ Later, I heard from the nurse that during anesthesia I kept coughing and moved too much, so they woke me up. I had a slight runny nose at the time, but I didn’t know this would happen.. Anyway, I’m still relieved that I didn’t wake up from the very beginning, but almost near the end. The nurses and the director were all kind, so I finished the surgery well without difficulty~^^ And on my way home, blood from the right side of my nose poured out quite a lot? so I was startled (used up a whole pack of portable tissuesㅜㅜ). When I asked, they said there was a lot of scar tissue and inflamed tissue, so hemostasis wasn’t working well, but it would be okay with time. When I changed the cotton they gave me to plug my nose, it stopped. Today, day 2, it’s barely coming out, just one drop at a time The swelling is still severe, and even my eyelids are swollen enough to turn purple, so I can’t really tell the shape, but maybe because my original nose was a bit short, my nostrils look a little biggerㅜㅜ I should talk about the shape after the swelling goes down.. Anyway, before surgery I had inflammation, a foreign-body sensation, and one side of my nose was blocked, but now that those are resolved, I feel relieved haha I hope everyone who had surgery recovers well and becomes prettier.
