Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Almost two months since removal surgery

Yesterday I went in for my two-month follow-up ~ I also got another prescription, and since my social life has completely stopped these days, it felt somehow awkward to go outside. And I also understood the contracture phase(?) that everyone here talks about. Right now, the right side of my nasal tip looks even more deflated, to the point that it casts a shadow.... ㅜㅜ Still, since everything is an outcome I had expected, I am accepting it calmly. Even though my heart collapses at times, I am thinking of this break as healing, reading a lot of books, and continuing to steady myself. I am also trying to take the contracture medication consistently at the same time every day. As expected, my doctor also felt very sorry for me, and told me to keep taking the medication and come in for another follow-up next month. He had said the minimum is three months, and especially that around the two-month mark right now is the worst period, so I should hold on to the hope that it will get better than this. He said he would do his best too. This time as well, I received a huge amount of comfort from my doctor ㅜㅜ My doctor is good at empathizing when I say something... As someone whose nose was damaged, to be honest, the only person who comforts me like this with an actual voice is my doctor. So after seeing him, a lot of the heaviness in my heart eases, and I also get hope that I can endure better. And I do not know if it is just me, but.. I do not really look in the mirror... yet when I watch movies or dramas, I only see people's noses. That is all. This was my ordinary(?) two-month review without any major special issues. I wonder how everyone is holding up!

Ps. My handsome doctor, I would be happy if my nose could resemble even half of his.....
