I finally got the stitches removed and the taping taken off. It feels refreshing but also empty.. ㅜㅜ If I were to describe my nose, it really was an all-around disaster, and this time the complications had gone as far as they could, and I had the Gore-Sili removed in an even more damaged state, so there was severe contracture all the way to the nasal tip. I really don’t know what to do about this... The doctor examined me today too, and said the inflammation inside the nose and things like scars are healing very well, but the problem is how to deal with this upturned nasal tip....... The doctor honestly said they couldn’t guarantee it either. When I first showed up with a nose that had complications, they told me, why didn’t you come to the hospital before it got to this point.. ㅜㅜ I’m upset about the waiting period too ㅜㅜ upset that I might have to remove costal cartilage too ㅜㅜ Was it stem cells.. It seems the doctor is even thinking about injections where they take something from my own flesh and inject it, but I don’t have that much fat, so I’m at a loss as to where they would take it from; Still, I decided to see it through with the doctor until the end and came back after saying I’d see them in 2 weeks. I think it’s really important from a patient’s perspective that the doctor worries together and empathizes like this. Before my first surgery, I also went around everywhere doing consultations, and there really were all kinds of doctors. My current doctor isn’t the doctor who performed my first surgery, but was the last doctor I went to because I wanted to reduce my nostril wings. Over two or three days in that cold weather, I went to eight places and had consultations. But the decisive reason I chose this place: (No sugarcoating. All the things other clinics said.. that they could cut off a lot, that it would become a peanut shape. That I’d get a dramatic result, my image would change completely, the scar would be hidden very well and not visible, etc..) Instead, they were honest. There wouldn’t be a big change, there wasn’t that much to cut off, and scars would definitely remain, but they would make them as unnoticeable as possible. They said that if the nostril wings were reduced a lot on this nose, the asymmetry could actually get worse and the nostrils could develop an angled shape. They told me, if you want to do it for your own satisfaction, go ahead~ and I think I put down the deposit that same day. After that, the result turned out even better than I expected.... Even now, my family says they had forgotten unless I mention it. They say, right, your nostrils used to be big and really round.. That’s how I came to trust the doctor. I thought I’d definitely have to get revision surgery here later, and time passed, but I was also so busy with life that even when complications came up in my nose and something like a nasal polyp was visible inside my nose, I was in Incheon at the time, so I had the crazy thought of going to an ENT to just slightly remove the inflammation? lump? and then coming back to work again... But it was like a bolt from the blue.. Have you ever had anything done to your nose? This thing behind here looks like an implant, so please go to a plastic surgery clinic. (ENT doctor: the only thing I can give you is antibiotics..) So I booked an appointment at this clinic immediately the next day and went straight into surgery the day after that......... As soon as the doctor saw me, they said.. Why did you come only now... They were really sorry for me... ㅜㅜ Doctor, still, I trust you. That you’ll make it into a human nose... !!!!!
Ps. For reference, I think the bridge line after removing the nasal bridge looks much better than when the bridge had that awkward, chalk-like implant in it. I’m going to think positively ;)
