One-Year, Two-Month Review of Double Osteotomy Genioplasty

Hello. This is my review at 1 year and 2 months after double osteotomy genioplasty! I had a severe complex about my recessed chin for a long time. I tried orthodontic treatment, but it did not have much effect. While deliberating, I learned about chin advancement surgery and looked for related clinics. I learned that [Clinic A] was the most famous and best in this field, so I chose it without hesitation. The surgery went well, and a nurse continued caring for me on the first day. For days 2 and 3, my chin hurt badly, so I ate only soft foods. Up to week 2, there was slight tightness and my chin was severely swollen, so I even wondered whether the surgery had gone well. During weeks 3 and 4, the swelling decreased rapidly and became natural; the pain almost disappeared and sensation gradually returned. Until the third month, the swelling gradually went down, and sensation had fully returned by then. After that, it naturally came to feel like my original chin. Now, at 1 year and 2 months, I have no pain at all, sensation has returned, and it looks natural. The clinic also provided periodic care and reviewed my progress with me. I am very satisfied now, and my concern about my chin has been completely resolved. What I am most satisfied with is that my formerly puffy-looking face now looks slimmer, the contour is more natural, and my recessed chin has been corrected. I hope this will be helpful for people with concerns similar to mine, and because I am very satisfied, I recommend [Clinic A].
