Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Bareunyeong Dental review! I had gum contouring and veneers together haha

I used to show a lot of gum tissue when I smiled T_T. Whenever I took photos or smiled in front of people, I was so self-conscious that I could only smile while covering my mouth T_T. I was embarrassed by how much of my gums showed when I smiled, and I also did not like the shape or alignment of my teeth, but I did not know exactly what needed to be done to look better. So rather than a factory-style dental clinic that only does veneers, I looked for a place that considers the teeth, gums, and entire face. After consulting at several places, some said veneers alone would be enough, while others said mine was a case requiring gum contouring. At Bareunyeong Dental, they explained two options in much greater detail, and the director designed Options 1 and 2, including their respective pros, cons, pain levels, and expected satisfaction. They said that in my case, the better approach would be to first address the areas where too much gum shows with gum contouring, as that would look more natural overall. The consultation was thorough, and there was absolutely no pressure to book, which I liked even more! After consulting with the director, I decided to have gum contouring first and veneers as well! I think it was a really good choice lol. Before the veneers, they even let me try temporary teeth first so I could personally check the tooth size and overall proportions. I am truly extremely satisfied with the result... Before, when I smiled broadly, my gums showed first, so I unconsciously covered my mouth when smiling. Now I barely think about my gums, which is so nice lol. I do not think I would be as satisfied now if I had only gotten veneers. Once the gum line was refined as well, the entire feeling of my smile changed completely haha. For people like me who are concerned about their teeth but are even more stressed about showing a lot of gums when smiling, I recommend consulting about the gum line too instead of considering veneers alone! I am satisfied because I can now smile in photos without covering my mouth.
