3 Months After Upturned Nose Columella and Nasolabial Angle Correction

I originally had a severe bulbous nose, and my nose was quite wide. Since my nose had a strong overall presence, my face looked dull, and it was far from the sophisticated, clean image I wanted. Every time I looked in the mirror, I felt like I looked somewhat Southeast Asian, and since that was a completely different direction from the look I was going for, I always felt disappointed. When I took photos, my nose looked even wider, so it was quite stressful too. So I looked hard for clinics, and my older sister recommended Lowell Plastic Surgery. Since it was run by a single director and it was a place my sister recommended, I think I decided that I should get my nose surgery there. When I had a consultation with Director Kim Jae-yoon, he seemed kind and also examined everything meticulously, so I scheduled the surgery date right away. I had surgery using Sofit, a 3D implant, and ear cartilage. Now it has been 3 months! Only my nose changed, but my overall impression has become much more natural and sophisticated. It doesn’t feel excessively high; it’s exactly the natural line I wanted, so I’m really highly satisfied. And what’s interesting is… I haven’t lost weight, but people around me ask if I lost weight! They say my face has more contour and looks slimmer. Now that my nose looks more refined, my face feels much more balanced. For the first 2 to 3 weeks, my nose was so itchy and felt stuffy. There was still swelling left, so I briefly thought, “When will it look natural?” But after a month, it gradually started settling into place, and now that I’m 3 months post-op, I’ve almost completely adjusted to it like it’s my own nose. Now every time I look in the mirror, the thought I have most is that I’m glad I did it. The most satisfying thing is the reaction from people around me. It’s not like, “You obviously got your nose done?” Instead, I hear things like, “You somehow got really prettier,” and “Your impression looks much more sophisticated.” It’s been 3 months, but people don’t know I had surgery; they just say they don’t know what changed, but I got prettier 😊 I wasn’t originally the type to look in the mirror often, but these days it feels so amazing that I keep looking in the mirror and taking lots of photos haha. I’m genuinely really satisfied now ✨
