Review from a man in his mid-30s on day 10 post-op I posted a day-3 review last week, and now I’ll talk about the recovery process since then, adding my personal opinions to the general guidelines. 1. Swelling and shape Fortunately, the swelling went down quickly, so by around day 10, for men, well... I think you could go back to social activities. The shape changes depending on how I wear the compression band, so I realized there’s no need to get overly happy or upset about it. 2. Brushing teeth Generally, they say not to brush your teeth for 2 weeks, but I’m undergoing orthodontic treatment, so I brushed mainly around my upper teeth. If you understand well where the incision was made and where the stitches are attached, brushing mainly the upper area, and brushing the inner side of the lower area, seems completely manageable. Personally, I recommend using a soft baby toothbrush to brush your teeth. 3. Diet Yes, of course, if you follow the conservative instructions and eat only porridge, there probably won’t be any issues. But I think men in particular may have less patience. After about a week... I think you can eat anything that has softened after soaking in broth (of course, you need to cut it with scissors). Rice, vegetables, meat, etc. soaked in hangover soup or gukbap can be eaten sufficiently if you cut them into suitable pieces and chew slowly. I think you can mix in instant cooked rice. Of course, you’ll need to brush your teeth well~~ 4. Radiofrequency care They say the plastic surgery clinic provides radiofrequency care for 5 weeks. I like it because it definitely seems effective.
