Before surgery, my impression looked too mature for my age and harsh, and I hated my side profile so much that I never took photos on other people’s phones or in group pictures. Even when I wore makeup, I spent ages using Photoshop, so I had a lot of reality checks and cried a lot too. A year ago, I had double-jaw surgery and two contouring procedures (square jaw, chin) at an oral and maxillofacial clinic, and since I had previously had chin surgery, the chin procedure was a revision surgery! I expected the recovery process after surgery not to be smooth, but the swelling went down better than I thought as time passed, so over the course of a year my face shape turned out exactly how I liked it. I was worried because I had surgery while working, but I only took about three weeks off work and was fine enough to return to daily life right away. After surgery, was I worried because I couldn’t open my mouth or eat hard foods? Not at all. As time passes, everything becomes natural, so you don’t have to worry. There are still some difficulties because of orthodontic treatment, but if I look only at the surgery and not the braces, everyday life is completely possible. After surgery, I take as many photos as I want, and especially I’ve been proudly taking side-profile photos often. I never knew I’d be this satisfied with my side profile and that it would look this pretty lol. People around me say my face has gotten so much smaller, people who see me often say I really did well to have the surgery, and people I haven’t seen in a long time say I’ve gotten so pretty, ask what I did, whether I lost weight, all of that. Since I’ve had jaw surgery twice, I was even more worried about sagging, so for aftercare I consistently work hard with lifting lasers about twice a year. That’s why I became even more satisfied after the surgery. I don’t feel like the money was wasted at all, I don’t even remember my old face, and I’m just happy. Now that it’s been a year, I’m looking at photos of my old face and I hate it so much. I don’t want to go back~~~ The hardship is brief, but the happiness lasts a long time!!
