Ever since I was young, I was so stressed because I couldn’t chew food properly due to malocclusionㅠㅠ I would avoid foods that needed to be chewed for a long time or tough foods, and as that kept building up, I also developed a complex about my appearance. Fortunately, there were several specialists, and I found EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, which felt trustworthy and also sees many foreign patients, so I was able to decide on double-jaw surgery with peace of mindㅎㅎ The first month after surgery was a bit hard… It was difficult to breathe, and because of the swelling I couldn’t sleep properlyㅠㅠ Back then, it felt like I was just getting through each day, but looking back now, I think I was able to recover like this because that time existed! Until around 3 months, the swelling was significant, and eating was probably the hardest part. But once I got past that hurdle, I could clearly feel my body recovering on its own, and by around 6 months, my jaw strength gradually came back and daily life became more and more comfortable. And now! At 12 months, the swelling has almost all gone down, and my jawline and facial contour have settled stablyㅎㅎ My tooth alignment has also improved a lot, and chewing food is much more natural and comfortable than before. Of course, I still have orthodontic appliances, so I’m not completely free yet, but I can eat a much wider variety of foods than before, and my jaw muscles have become much firmer! Above all, what I’m most satisfied with is the external change! People around me also say my face has become prettier, and when I look at old photos, I wonder, was I really like that? To that extent, my current appearance feels so natural and I like it so much♥ At first, double-jaw surgery was really scary and I had a lot of worries, but now I truly think it was such a good decision! I did struggle for a while, but because that time existed, I have this happy daily life nowㅎㅎ I sincerely want to recommend it to those who are considering it. A better tomorrow will definitely come!
