Hello It has already been 6 months since I had double-jaw surgery and 2 types of contouring (square jaw + anterior chin) at Y Oral Surgery for malocclusion and an asymmetrical protruding lower jaw From around the 3-month mark, the swelling started to go down gradually, and as time passed, I could feel my face in the mirror becoming more and more natural hehe Now that I'm entering month 6, the hospital also told me that almost all the swelling has gone down! It is definitely different from the beginning; my contours have become clearer, and I can feel small changes becoming noticeable in daily life too hehe I didn't have any particular side effects after surgery, but the muscles around my mouth still feel a little awkward, so whenever I have time, I keep doing mouth exercises hehe Especially when pronouncing words or making facial expressions, it feels slightly awkward, but it's getting better as time passes, so I'm not worried! Friends I met after a long time thought I had only gotten orthodontic treatment and didn't know I had double-jaw surgery hehe One friend even said that because I lost weight and my skin got better, they thought I had gotten a lifting procedure hehe People meeting me for the first time don't know I had surgery at all and just think my face was originally like this lol Every time that happens, I feel proud inside and feel that the surgery was worth it hehe And I'm now eating almost without restrictions! Spicy food and salty food are no problem at all, and I'm eating hot foods well too I still try not to overdo hard foods and am careful with them hehe There are so many soft and delicious foods that I don't have to force myself to eat hard foods, so I don't have much inconvenience with meals I've also fully adjusted to daily life now and am doing well without problems~! When spending time with people or going out, I've gained confidence, and I'm able to interact with people with a much more comfortable mindset than before hehe Now I think once the remaining orthodontic treatment is finished, everything will really be perfectly complete With the hope that my orthodontic treatment ends quickly, I'm taking careful care again today!!
