Next week will be week 4, so the day is coming up when I need to meet the doctor and check my progress... So far, I haven’t really felt anything major like nasal upturning, contraction phase, or splitting. For now, it only hurts a bit when I touch my nose while putting on makeup or washing my face.. I do feel a slight pulling sensation, but not enough to feel uncomfortable. The implant was removed through my right nostril, so the right side had been a bit swollen (both inside the nose and externally), but a lot of the swelling has gone down now. The nostril sizes have also become almost the same. Compared to week 2, the bridge of my nose feels lower and more spread out. It definitely no longer has that slim, refined look, but I think it looks natural and gives me a better impression. People around me, except my husband, don’t notice. That I had it removed.. My husband is coming back from a business trip tomorrow. ㅜ Since I had it removed without telling him, my heart feels heavy ㅠ Thankfully, I think the side profile looks okay. From the front, it definitely looks a bit more spread out. Compared to a surgically enhanced nose.. I guess that’s only natural.. I’ll have to keep watching it from now on, but at least so far, I have no regrets at all about removing it and I’m very satisfied!! I feel more confident about my face too! Looking at the comparison myself, my current nose may not be showing its exact final shape yet because the swelling hasn’t completely gone down, but it feels like Photo 1 + Photo 2 = Photo 3; haha I feel like my current nose has a mix of the before-surgery and after-surgery feel.
