(I’m taking the photos down) About 4 years ago? I had my eyes and nose done together For my nose, I had silicone, ear cartilage in the nasal tip, and they said I had a hump so they shaved it slightly. I also had alar reduction (I honestly don’t remember if anything else was done.. but this is how I remember it)
But maybe because I got plastic surgery without thinking it through much, I didn’t really like it First of all, the swelling in the glabella didn’t go down even after a year.. (not the whole glabella, just the center of the glabella was round and raised) When I got tired and things like that, a round inflammation would form in the middle. Rather than thinking it was because of the surgery.. I kept wondering, does silicone not suit me? Besides that, it hurt so much if I bumped it.. the inflammation didn’t heal well, and compared with that, the nasal height kept getting lower as the swelling went down, which I didn’t like So I removed it. Since it was going to get lower anyway.. lol I had it taken out at the hospital where I had it done, and the doctor honestly didn’t recommend it, but I was a bit stubborn They said it was swelling and would go down.. But even after waiting about a year, only the glabella didn’t go down.. I lost patience.. so I had surgery Instead of complete removal, I left the ear cartilage in place
After taking it out, the glabellar swelling went down completely right away. I hadn’t liked the line, and what I liked most was that it went back to a round shape again Maybe because my forehead isn’t high, the high upper part of the nose didn’t suit me. And for a while, because of the capsule? or whatever it was, my nose didn’t suddenly become low. I just thought it wasn’t that different from before removal. Now it’s been almost 3 years, so it has just gone back to my own nose And even after removal, something round came up again in the middle of my nose due to inflammation? so I went back, and they said it was inflammation and would settle down, and if not, did they say to have surgery..? My memory is fuzzy on this too. This took some time to subside, but it completely disappeared about a year ago I guess time really does heal it
Since it wasn’t complete removal, I don’t think I got contracture..? Of course, after removal, for a while my nose did go up and down, but now that doesn’t happen. I do think my nostrils show more than before nose surgery because there was a little contracture here and there from inflammation during the nose surgery period.. But in my opinion, it’s much more comfortable than when I had it in, and it isn’t completely upturned either, so I’m satisfied. Honestly, I think it’s at a level other people wouldn’t notice Now I can comfortably make a pig nose too (though it doesn’t lift completely haha)
Hmm.. what bothers me a bit is the scar from the alar reduction, and once the capsule disappeared, the shaved part is definitely visible Of course, it’s not to the extent that others can see it; it’s just when I touch it or look closely. Also, since the ear cartilage remains in the nasal tip, it isn’t a perfectly smooth line. And sometimes if I hit my nose with something like my phone, it swells up easily lol It does go back down though..
But I’m satisfied because what I gained from nose removal was greater. Of course, I also got stressed here and there after removal.. Still, it makes me feel bad because it seems many people worry a lot about nose removal ㅠㅠ I do think nose removal also isn’t something to take lightly.. but I also don’t think you should be unable to remove your nose implant while stressing over whether contracture will happen or not.. I hope my review gives you courage!
I’ll try uploading photos as I find them.. They’re old, so even finding photos is hard ㅠㅠ
