I had surgery today. At first they said they would remove the septal cartilage, so I scheduled a date and came in today, but suddenly they said complete removal wasn’t possible.. They said it was dangerous because the nose would turn up, and that they would remove as much as possible. I was stressed about having to go around to consultations again, so I just went ahead with the surgery, but ha... I’m not sure if this is because of swelling, but the doctor said, around the bridge of the nose and between the nasal tip? Those who had their nasal tip raised with septal cartilage will know this, but if you run your finger down the bridge from between the eyebrows, at some point it suddenly starts to angle upward and you can feel the septal cartilage going up to the nasal tip. They said they left a little bit of that starting point and removed the septal cartilage in the tip. So I looked in the mirror and ha..... The bridge is high but the nasal tip is gone, so should I say it feels like the nasal tip has become a cliff? I don’t know if this is because of swelling.. I really don’t know, but I’m going crazy from the stress right now. I’m visiting the hospital tomorrow, and I’m planning to go there crying and begging. I’m going to ask them to remove the rest immediately. Ah.... I seriously got home now and I’m having suicidal urges. I feel like I’m dying. I’m terrified my whole nose will collapse at this rate. I thought this was going to be the last surgery.. It definitely feels like the area from the columella to the nasal tip has been removed. Usually, when I’ve seen people who had removal, the swelling shape after removal seems to stay somewhat as is, but from what I see, if the nasal tip looks flat like it’s been pressed against something, this means the surgery went wrong, right?.. How much could it really change once the swelling goes downㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
And if I had surgery today, is it possible to have revision surgery a few days later?? Please... help me. Seriously right now, ha.. all I can think is that I want to die.
