November 26, time has already passed like this. In June 2014, I had surgery for rhinitis, deviated septum, and crooked nose at Yangjae S K H ENT clinic, and after that I suffered tremendously from surgical side effects. Nasal obstruction and twisting gradually got worse, and while debating reconstruction versus removal, I decided on complete removal. After four consultations from Busan to Seoul, I had removal surgery with Dr. S S O, and today is day 12. Until right before surgery, our opinions differed over cartilage repositioning, and I asked the doctor myself. I asked him not to do cartilage repositioning and to keep the nose from turning upward as much as possible. I’m satisfied with the result, and especially because my breathing and the twisting have returned to normal, I feel very good. The only flaws are that my nose has become a little lower and the open-surgery scar is visible. But because functional issues were important, I won’t worry about my nose and will live diligently.
