I think it took about 2 hours from surgery, waking up, and seeing the doctor. Unlike my first nose surgery, I went into the operating room very calmly.. And then I gently fell asleep feeling really good. Without even dreaming once.. It’s so comfortable because I had the removal without putting even one piece of cotton in my nose. Right now, maybe because it’s swollen, my nasal bridge looks plump, and honestly it makes me think I wish my nose had been done like this. I wanted a nose with some thickness rather than a thin, sharp nose ㅠ Of course, once the swelling goes down rapidly, I may not like my face, but at least for now, I’m satisfied enough just that the surgery is fortunately over, and they also corrected the pinched nose well, so I feel relieved. The doctor showed me every single photo taken during the surgery. They also showed me the removed stitches, silicone, and the actual materials. Currently, I don’t think my image has changed greatly, and I just hope it heals a bit prettier(?) than my original nose..ㅎ.. Human greed is like that.
I had it removed only on the right side because the nasal bridge was showing through and the silicone was short, causing a boundary line in the middle of the nasal bridge. (It had been 6 years since surgery.) After worrying for 3 years (giving up because of my mom’s opposition and my own timidness), I made a big decision and removed it. Because I thought I would regret it.. I feel like I gained a big life experience. I don’t regret my first rhinoplasty either. Even if I went back, I think I would do it again haha..
What I want to say to those who are worrying is, if it is noticeably unsatisfactory in shape or the silicone shows through, or if you have thought about it for a long time, then go for it.
But if you like it and it’s simply because of anxiety, I hope you think it over even more thoroughly before choosing.
If I get the chance, I’ll write again!
