Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I had my silicone removed today

I had my silicone from 6-7 years ago removed I haven't seen how it looks after removal yet, but even just seeing it with the splint on, the glabella has lowered a lot. lol

Right now there's almost no swelling and I don't think there's any bleeding There's no cotton inside my nose either.. maybe because there's almost no swelling, even though it's the same day, I can feel that the glabella has lowered by about the amount of silicone removed~ I originally got nose surgery because I disliked having a low glabella, but people's feelings are funny .^^ When my glabella suddenly became too high, it felt awkward. I didn't hate it, but even after years, that awkwardness..

For my first surgery, silicone and septal cartilage were used I didn't remove it because of inflammation or a nasal tip problem, so only the silicone was removed with a closed approach.

Maybe because my baby and I kept bumping heads, at some point when I got tired my nose felt heavy and I felt a subtle glabellar swelling that only I could notice, so I had a consultation and removed it. They said if I wanted complete removal it would need an open approach, but after thinking it over, I left the nasal tip cartilage and removed only the silicone with a closed approach..   The surgery itself seems to have taken about 15 minutes Including prep time and recovery time, about two hours?

I'm surprised there is so little swelling Will it start swelling from tomorrow? Also, when I do a cold compress, my nose gets pressed and hurts, but I'm just continuing to do it. Is this the right way to do it?
