Hello! I received a lot of help here and was grateful to many people, so I’m leaving a review.
It had been 7 years since my surgery (silicone + septal cartilage). About a year and a half ago, I had really severe nose pain.. I don’t know the cause, but it was pain I had never experienced before in my life, so I went to more than 5 clinics, but they all said it didn’t seem to be inflammation ㅠ I took antibiotics and made a whole fuss, but the medication didn’t work and the pain continued ㅠㅠ After it started hurting, I felt like my nose had become upturned, so I worried whether it might be contracture and decided on removal. But I wasn’t in a position to have surgery right away, so I ended up having surgery a year and a half later, but in conclusion... it was neither inflammation nor contracture. And the director told me that the capsule was also extremely thin at the time of removal! The silicone was soft silicone and very long, and since it was embedded all the way to the nasal tip in my small nose, I think the skin became thin and it hurt.. If I had to look for the cause of the pain, that’s what I’m guessing. After taking it out, the pain I had back then disappeared, and now I only occasionally have pain that appears during the wound-healing process.
Um, the major swelling seemed to go down in 2 weeks, and my bruising also lasted 2 weeks ... I think this will differ depending on your constitution. As for the nasal tip, maybe because I left the septal cartilage in, there doesn’t seem to be a big change.. The nasal tip.. seems slightly more upturned than my original nose. My original nose was also short, but the slight lift now doesn’t look unattractively upturned, so I’m satisfied. The nasal bridge is lower, but maybe because there’s still minor swelling, I think it looks much more natural and pretty now! The sharpness is gone though haha Most of all, after removal I was worried people would notice, but neither close friends nor coworkers noticed at all. I guess people aren’t very interested in other people’s noses.. or maybe they’re pretending not to know on purpose. The director said the contraction period starts from around one month, but I still don’t feel it.. I do feel a slight pain that wasn’t there before; is this the contraction period.. I just hope it passes without me noticing.
