Recently, the tip of my nose started showing through white, and I had no idea what it was, so I got a CT scan at another hospital, not the one where I had surgery. They said it looked like donated costal cartilage had been used near the columella;;;; That is a surgical material I had never heard of at all. I was originally only told about silicone and ear cartilage. So I thought it would be better to remove it quickly, and I went for a consultation at one of the top three removal clinics, the one in Hongdae.
The director there said complete removal is possible too, but in my case, my nose is slightly pinched, so if they do alar cartilage grafting to spread out the nasal ala area, breathing would be easier and it would be good.. But then they would have to take ear cartilage again and put it into my noseㅠㅠ I just feel so scared about putting something into my nose again.. When I had my first surgery, I had just turned 20, and maybe because I didn't know anything back then, I wasn't scared at all. Now that I'm older, I really think I was brave only because I was too young and didn't know anything.. So for now, I'm going to go to the hospital where I originally had surgery and hear exactly what material was put in, and I have also booked a consultation at another hospital famous for removal. If they say that even after complete removal, I can go back to my old nose shape, I'm just going to use my vacation time and get it removed quickly.. I'm going for the consultation soon, and I'll post another reviewㅠ
