Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Looking back, I'm glad I worried about my face shape

For a long time, my lower face looked wide and my chin tip was round, so every time I took a photo, my face shape was quietly stressful. So while looking into orthognathic surgery, I also got consultations about the chin tip and V-line and had them done together at Jea Dental Clinic. At first I only thought about orthognathic surgery, but they said that for my face shape it would be better to adjust the chin tip and mandibular line too, so I did them together. The approach wasn't to reduce everything as much as possible, but to balance the overall proportions, and that felt right. At first I couldn't really tell because of the swelling, but as time passed the line became visible. My wide, round lower face became more defined, and my chin tip feels much cleaner too? Before, I used to take all kinds of angles to hide my chin in photos, but these days I just take them Even from 45 degrees or in profile, the line flows naturally, and that's what I'm most satisfied with. It was a huge surgery, so I really worried a lot, but looking at the before-and-after photos now, the change is obvious, so I feel like I made the right choice. I still think the residual swelling will go down more, so I'm looking forward to what's ahead:)
