Hello! It feels like time has really flown by now that it has been 6 months since my surgery haha. I had double jaw surgery with Director Shin Hee-jin at IYI Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and aside from a little bit of swelling that only I can barely notice, there is absolutely no discomfort or side effects at all!! Before, I especially hated being photographed from the side, even more than from the front... I almost never took photos taken by friends or with the back camera, and I gradually stopped taking selfies too, so I was really stressed because every time I looked in the mirror I only saw my flaws T_T Since I had a somewhat prognathic jaw and facial asymmetry, I was always very conscious of my face angle whenever I took pictures, and when I took photos with friends I often ended up covering my face alone T_T!! So I eventually started thinking about surgery, and I got consultations at two places. But after comparing them, Director Shin Hee-jin's consultation at IYI Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery felt much more thorough, and she explained my facial condition in detail, which made me trust her. At another hospital they said only IVRO would be possible, but Director Shin Hee-jin explained that SSRO would also be sufficiently possible, and that played a big role in my decision :) Right now I hardly feel stressed about being photographed like before, and when I take photos with friends, I naturally take them together haha. Before, whenever I took a photo, I was always busy trying to hide myself, but now I think I can keep a lot of pretty photos too, and that is the best part. Now that 6 months have passed, daily life is completely comfortable, and my facial line feels naturally refined, so I am very satisfied haha.
