It has been about two months since I started orthodontic treatment, and I went in for a regular checkup. Over the past month, I wore elastics for about 12 hours a day to help adjust the bite, mostly while sleeping, so it was not as uncomfortable as I expected. It felt a little awkward at first, but I adapted quickly, and I felt a sense of satisfaction as the bite gradually seemed to be getting corrected. Today, they removed one side of the leg portion of the palatal expansion device, and it felt amazing to see the treatment moving forward step by step. It was Saturday morning, so there were many patients, but they treated me quickly according to my appointment time, so I was able to go in comfortably without waiting. I am looking forward to seeing what changes there will be at the next visit 😊
