I did not really have any complexes about my face, but while going to the orthodontics department I was advised that this case would really benefit from bimaxillary surgery, and that is what made me decide to have the operation. I had surgery on November 27, and I am now about three months post-op. I currently have no side effects at all, the swelling went down very quickly, and I think I got good results because the doctor performed the surgery well. The jawline from the side and the overall facial line seem to have become a little softer.
