It’s been 4 months since my double-jaw surgery, and daily life is much more comfortable than I expected. I had the surgery with Director Shin Hee-jin at [Clinic A], and since I was little I was teased about my looks, which made my personality shrink a lot, so I finally decided to try changing things once. I chose the hospital after really checking a lot of YouTube and cafe reviews and doing a lot of what people call hand-searching. I went to consult at several hospitals, and among them, the explanation from Director Shin at [Clinic A] didn’t feel overly polished or exaggerated, but instead felt realistic, which actually made me trust it more. It’s been about 3 to 4 months since the surgery now, and eating is almost back to normal meals. I’m still avoiding chewy or hard foods, but that doesn’t feel especially inconvenient, just like I’m still recovering, so it’s not a big stress. The most common thing people around me say is that I look more handsome and my impression has become much softer, and sometimes they even say I look like a completely different person, which is kind of fascinating. The swelling has now gone down to the point that it’s barely noticeable, and speaking and making facial expressions have become natural again, so daily life itself has basically returned to how it was before surgery. Personally, more than my appearance, what I feel most is how much easier eating and daily life have become, so I’m satisfied!
