Orthodontic treatment review

Since I was young, my face was on the small side, so my teeth did not come in evenly. So in the end, I had 4 teeth extracted and lived with braces on for about 2 years, and now I only have a retainer attached to the four upper front teeth. A lot of people may be scared because of the extractions, but it really does not hurt at all, and there is just a crunching sound.. For me, even the anesthesia was just like a slight sting? That was about it. And after the anesthesia wore off, there was no pain at all. I do think it may be because I chose the clinic well, though.. For about 1 year after finishing orthodontic treatment, I wore my retainer every day about 2-3 times a week, and now I do not wear it at all. But since I had braces for much longer than most people, my teeth have not shifted! And the one thing I slightly regret about getting orthodontic treatment is that as my mouth went in, my lips also became thinner....
