When I sleep lying on my left side, my left nostril gets blocked, and when I sleep lying on my right side, I wake up with my right nostril blocked. Could it be that my nasal septum has become too weak and keeps tilting? Is there anyone like me who has trouble breathing because their nose gets blocked depending on their sleeping position? I had septal extension with costal cartilage grafted on both sides, so I wonder if it’s because of the weight of this costal cartilage If I have it removed, I’m so scared that the nasal septum will collapse because it has no support. Then saddle nose would happen, and then I’d have no choice but to keep the costal cartilage grafted on, so I’m really worried whether I’ll just have to keep enduring that foreign-body sensation.

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 20 What happens if silicone is removed from a nose that had osteotomy and the tip raised with septal cartilage?
6 years ago, I had an osteotomy and had my nasal tip raised with septal cartilage. If I remove the silicone, I wonder if the skin over the area where the silicone was will be stretched out. If I remove it, will it be better than my…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 18 I’m thinking about nose implant removal and want to discuss it with someone
I had surgery in early August using costal cartilage for the nasal bridge and diced costal cartilage particles, and I also had a hump. But even after surgery, they said they had shaved down the whole hump, yet it’s still very visible, and…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 18 I had consultations at 3 places.
But how can they all be so different? ㅅㅅㅇ said open or closed approach is possible, with total removal. ㅇㅈ said open total removal, but reuse the septal cartilage, raise the columella a bit to shape it, and the nose may upturn. ㅍㄹㅁ said…
