Nose Surgery Reviews

First rhinitis and bulbous-nose surgery consultation review

I have rhinitis during seasonal changes, and it was so uncomfortable that I thought I might as well get rid of my bulbous nose, which had been a complex for many years, while having surgery. So I decided to visit three clinics I found through apps: [Clinic A], [Clinic B], and [Clinic C].

Since my nose is low, I was considering silicone for the bridge, and all three clinics suggested the same material. [Clinic A] was very clean and used the entire building. It had a typical factory-like feel, but the consultant was very nice. They also had an ENT department, so I had both consultations. The ENT doctor said I did have rhinitis and that the surgery would be simple and quick. In plastic surgery, they suggested donor rib cartilage and said I might need alar reduction. I asked as much as I could, and they answered everything well while touching and examining my nose, so it was fine. But when I looked up the plastic surgeon, there wasn’t much information about this clinic, so I hesitated a little.

[Clinic B] specializes in noses, so they seemed quite professional. At first they asked if I had watched the video. When I said no, they showed me an explanatory video, so the waiting time wasn’t boring. They felt very conservative. Although I have the appearance of crowded eyes, they only suggested raising the nose slightly, and they also said alar reduction might not be necessary and could look strange. Looking at the CT, they said my septum was somewhat ambiguous and I might need donor rib cartilage. I do want to raise it slightly, but the explanation and reviews were good, so I’m very hesitant.

[Clinic C] seemed to use the whole building, like [Clinic A], and had a factory-style feel. Here, I strongly felt as if I had come to a hotel, and there were many foreigners even in the waiting area. I only had a cosmetic consultation, not an ENT consultation. The doctor was very calm and said, after looking at me from various angles, that septal cartilage and ear cartilage would be enough. Even though I have crowded eyes, they said they could raise it higher than [Clinic B], which surprised me. I felt that their approach was somewhat similar to what I wanted.

I visited these three clinics, but since this is my first surgery, I’m extremely conflicted. Each has advantages and disadvantages, and I feel even less sure where to go. Can anyone tell me which other places might be worth visiting?
