Nose Re-Surgery

Revision rhinoplasty after 17 years

It had already been 17 years since my first rhinoplasty. I had lived without thinking much about it, but as I got older, I felt that my nose was gradually starting to contract upward, like a contracted nose. I especially disliked how my nostrils looked upturned from the front.

People are never satisfied... Even though I thought, “If I’m opening my nose again anyway, maybe I should make the tip rounder and more refined,” I didn’t want an excessively high or sharp nose at my age. I visited several clinics known for creating natural noses with some definition and had revision surgery with Director Hwang Se-hwi at [Clinic A].

I had silicone inserted in the nasal bridge and autologous costal cartilage used for the tip. I also had my short nose and bulbous nose corrected. I’m so incredibly satisfied now.

Before, my nose was short and upturned, so my nostrils were the first thing people noticed. Now the tip has come down and they are much less visible. The rounded tip was refined into a slimmer shape without becoming too sharp, which I like. The contour from the bridge to the tip is also natural, so the center of my face looks much cleaner than before.

Because it was my first surgery again in 17 years, I worried a lot about regretting it if I touched it unnecessarily T_T. But now I’m pleased that it isn’t a flashy nose like those of very young people, but is refined in a way that suits my face!

At first my husband asked why I needed to do my nose again, but now he says my overall impression is much better than before haha. This was a revision I had agonized over for a long time, so I feel relieved that the areas I was concerned about were addressed well.
