I had my first surgery using septal silicone and my revision using autologous rib cartilage and silicone. I was experiencing various functional and aesthetic complications, including difficulty breathing, visible cartilage, and asymmetry. As an office worker, I also had trouble finding time, and I felt reluctant to undergo another surgery, so I kept putting it off. Only recently did I start consultations for revision surgery. During the process, I learned from the CT scan that I had serious complications, although I cannot go into detail because I am worried I might be identified. So I changed my mind and decided on removal, had everything removed today, and am resting now. The plan included removing the autologous rib cartilage from the nasal tip and the silicone from the bridge, reconstructing the areas that needed it, and reducing the nostrils as well. Aesthetic factors are also very important to me, so I think I deliberated a lot between function, appearance, and the psychological burden. I have gained a lot of help from reading this community, so if you have any questions, leave a comment and I will answer!

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 21 I want it removed, but I don't want to return to my original nose.

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 21 Revision rhinoplasty after 17 years
