In conclusion, I’m still very satisfied.
It was orthodontic treatment for cosmetic purposes, and I’m naturally a worrier, so I was really scared of all kinds of side effects and thought about it for a year, but so far I have no side effects at all. Things like root resorption, gum recession, etc.
My teeth are quite large and triangular in shape, so I expected black triangles to form, but I’m very relieved that there aren’t any.
As for pain, when the braces were first put on, it was hell, but my teeth were fairly even from the start, so after that it’s fair to say it barely hurt.
Communication with my primary doctor is good, and my opinions are reflected well, so I’m satisfied.
I’m regretting not doing it sooner.
