As others have said, the doctor and the consultants are not especially friendly. They’re actually closer to blunt, but what was different from doctors at other hospitals was that they explained things by pinpointing only the key points. I went there with almost no consultation experience, and I knew almost nothing about plastic surgery, but even so, they showed me pamphlets and photos one by one while explaining, and that made me trust them. After the doctor consultation, I met with the manager, and the manager was really good. When I said it was almost my first time consulting, they honestly told me what to watch out for at other hospitals, what makes them different from other hospitals, and finally even told me to visit as many hospitals as possible before deciding. The way they spoke actually made me trust them more. First of all, one thing to watch out for when consulting at other hospitals was what material they use for the tip of the nose. The hospital said they use ear cartilage, and they told me to absolutely avoid places that do the kind of surgery common in the West that reduces the nose from the front to the side at a flat angle? (I don’t remember the exact name), or places that use hard materials at the tip of the nose. Also, my eyes are wide-set horizontally and the outer corners tilt upward, and while other hospitals recommended lateral and lower canthoplasty, here they said they would not do lower canthoplasty. They said the chance of side effects is very high. What impressed me was that they safely recommend only the minimum necessary surgery. And for the surgery method, they said that a week before the surgery date, you come to the hospital and make around nine plaster molds of the nose, and then the doctor chooses about four or five of them to recommend. They also said that even during surgery, with a guardian present, you can temporarily check what the nose shape will look like a month later. That’s why the satisfaction rate is high, they said. I guess it makes sense.
