I was going for revision eye surgery and was recommended eye correction, upper canthoplasty, partial incision, and a forehead lift. During the doctor's consultation, they said the forehead lift was the most urgent, and that the eye surgery should either be done together with it or after seeing the results of the lift anyway, but the lift should come first. After that, I had the manager consultation, and I said I hadn't even considered a forehead lift and it was too burdensome price-wise (the forehead lift was twice the price of the eye surgery), but they said that in cases similar to mine, people got good results even without the forehead lift, just with eye correction, double eyelid surgery, and upper canthoplasty, so they told me to do the forehead lift later and the eye surgery first, and I reserved it that way. But on the day of surgery, while I was changing and sitting there, the doctor came and got really angry, saying, "Didn't I explain everything?" and "Didn't I tell you the lift has to come first?" The manager had been persuading me with "cases like yours" and all that... (Then please train the manager properly.) I was really about to cry, but I held it in. Anyway, I did have the surgery. They seemed very confident about upper canthoplasty, but I ended up with a scar from it, and it still hasn't gone away after a year; even when I go for follow-up visits, they don't really do anything, so I went maybe two or three times after the surgery and stopped going. For reference, I had front canthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty at another hospital before, 10 years ago, and I didn't get even a single scar then. Every other hospital talked about incision, so I had it done here, but if I could turn back time, I probably wouldn't bother doing it here.
