First of all, the director looks extraordinarily professional. He talks a lot, and the consultation lasted an hour. But for an ordinary person, it is kind of hard to follow. Still, he explained things passionately and pointed out a lot of problems. He said he would not touch the septum at all, and he would not use autologous costal cartilage or functional rib cartilage. So when I asked what he would use to raise it, he said he would use ear cartilage for both the cartilage support and the nasal bridge support. And to reduce the see-through, hollowed-out feeling, he said he would use fascia graft from behind the ear and autologous dermis. I am not sure if I understood correctly, but he said it is a different method from buttock dermis. First of all, I am a revision case and already have contracture, so my skin has become quite thin. Because there is a limit to the skin whether it is donor rib or autologous rib, the height will naturally be lower than it is now. He explained that the reason the contracture happened in the first place was that the height was too much for the skin to handle. It was an explanation that made sense. So rather than raising the bridge height, he said he would lower the tip to create an image that fits my face shape. When I asked exactly how much lower it would be, he said they would only know after opening it up, and they would make it fit a triangle as much as possible. He said the surgery would take about two hours, with sleep anesthesia, and the CCTV can be checked anytime. The price was 6.5 million won, which was much cheaper than I expected, so I was surprised. Since this is a revision surgery and a contracted nose, I thought it would be at least over 8 million; the other clinics were like that too. But here, the price is set directly by the doctor, not by the manager. So I wondered if that is why it is cheaper. Anyway, the explanation was extremely long, and I cannot say he was friendly, but friendliness does not equal surgical skill. So I did hesitate about this place too. But the aftercare is only for 3 months, And after looking up other reviews, I got the impression that the director is somewhat lacking when it comes to postoperative side effects and aftercare. It feels like they would not actively handle things if problems come up later. Still, there are definitely advantages in terms of the surgical method, safety-conscious style, professionalism, and price, so I plan to think about it a bit more.
