<Front><Right><Left>Hello! My nose is currently crooked + I feel like contracture may be developing, so I’m considering removal. I want to remove the silicone and redo the nasal tip, so I can still keep it a bit more cosmetically improved than my original nose.. My skin has always been thin, and because I got injured when I was young, my nasal bridge was already slightly crooked and I barely had any bridge height.
My first surgery was in the summer of 2017 with 3 mm silicone + septal cartilage. At the time, the doctor said that even after surgery, I would still feel a little crookedness, but after about 3 years, my nose became very crooked and the tip became too pointy. It was also very hard.
So I had revision surgery at another clinic. The second surgery was in 2021, and it was done with customized silicone, Fitme? 0.7 mm + septal cartilage + ear cartilage.
After the splint was removed, I saw that the crookedness actually looked more noticeable, so I asked, and they said it was swelling and told me to wait and observe.
As time passes, my nose is becoming more crooked into a C shape, and the right and left sides of the nasal tip look different I also feel like contracture is gradually developing, so I want to remove it before it gets worse…
I’m a mother with a baby, so it’s hard for me to make much time.. I’m tired of worrying because of the silicone.. After giving birth, my immunity dropped, and my nasal bridge hurts from time to time, and I also have tenderness, so I’m planning to remove the silicone completely.
I want to have a second revision surgery where the silicone is removed and the nasal tip is left as it is. If I do that, will there be no more contracture? I’m scared of the contraction phase too.. But I really don’t know much.. Please help.. I’m writing this while raising a newborn baby, so the writing may be disorganized Thank you for understanding
