I’m about to have my second surgery, and it seems like a lot of people here get everything removed, so I’m asking.. Should I remove it before the contracture gets worse after trying reconstruction? Should I try reconstruction only with autologous costal cartilage, and if contracture happens, remove it then? I’m worried that by then it might be too late, so I’m debating whether I should just remove it quickly instead of opening it up multiple times
