I think my nose originally wasn’t bad in terms of its basic height. However, there were a few parts I felt were lacking, so I chose surgery because I wanted to improve them. Since the nose seems to take up quite a bit of presence on the face, I wanted to refine it to look slimmer and have surgery in a way that made the bridge and tip of my nose look sharper, so I searched for plastic surgery clinics online and visited them. Since I thought my nasal bridge was on the higher side, I wanted to proceed without an implant. The director also answered that this would be possible. However, the recommended materials were different from those at other plastic surgery clinics. At the places I had visited before, they said I would need to use autologous costal cartilage to achieve the look I wanted, but since I am on the younger side and it was my first surgery, I did not want to undergo such a major surgery. At this clinic, they said it was possible without needing that kind of material. During the consultation, the director also said my nose would turn out well without much difficulty. So I proceeded without an implant, using only septal cartilage and ear cartilage. I did not use any other additional materials at all. Even so, I think it turned out well with the look I wanted. The nasal bridge, tip, and nasal line that used to look blunt have been refined a lot overall. My dad was very worried about the surgery, but he said he was relieved because the director and the hospital staff were generally all kind and professional. The surgery turned out well, and it was also nice that they provided swelling laser treatment as a service. I felt that the aftercare was quite thorough. I liked that it was a place that does not demand additional surgeries from patients.
