Day 1 after surgery, 2026.01.23 (Fri) When I got up, I felt really stiff and it was difficult. As the swelling started to set in fully, the square-looking “beam” was still there, but it felt less severe than yesterday. The wrinkly, rippling-like unevenness near the cleavage area of my right breast was still there too. Maybe because of the swelling, it felt slightly less noticeable, and from this point, the wrinkly area started to develop discoloration like a bruise, so I began wondering whether this was bruising or rippling.
That day, I decided to change my mindset. Just surviving such a major surgery is something to be grateful for. Regardless of whether the surgery turned out well or not, the top priority is that I’m alive. For now, I made it through safely, and I decided to feel grateful that I’m alive.
If the rippling becomes noticeable later, I can just get filler or fat grafting or whatever. For now, I survived, so I decided to be truly grateful.
I had dinner outside with my mom, then we went to Mega Coffee and chatted before coming back.
