I got orthodontic treatment in high school, and it’s already been about 10 years now. At first, they said I might need extractions, but later they said I didn’t have to, so I didn’t get any teeth extracted. My treatment period for malocclusion was 1 year and 6 months! It wasn’t a severe case, so it finished quickly, but because of that, there wasn’t a dramatic change in my appearance either.. I don’t even wear my retainer now, but my teeth haven’t gone back and are maintaining well, so I’m satisfied.
