I had one high canine, and overall my teeth didn’t form an arch; they looked a bit spread out. I thought the high canine had its own charm lol, so I debated for a while, but I ended up getting orthodontic treatment in my mid-20s. I did clear aligners, and it took 11 months in total.
At the time, I was living overseas, so I went for a consultation at a clinic I had bookmarked. They explained that my teeth were somewhat difficult and, since I couldn’t come in for monthly checkups, I’d probably only be about 90% satisfied. I still went ahead with it, and now, a full 5 years after finishing, I’m soooo satisfied lololol I’m 300% satisfied lololol
They sent the clear aligners to me by courier each time, and other than struggling to remove them for the first few days, there was no pain. I did it while working at a company, and nobody noticed lolol
The director is very meticulous, and the clinic seems to suit me well, so even after finishing orthodontic treatment, I still keep going for general checkups and treatment.
After orthodontic treatment, my teeth are even, so my overall impression looks neater, and I like that my mouth looks less protruded! And strangely, before orthodontic treatment I couldn’t whistle, but after it, I can whistle lolol
Anyway, if you’re debating because of orthodontic treatment, I really recommend at least going for a consultation!
