Even up until the 1- to 2-month mark, I thought, “Has almost all the swelling gone down?” But once I reached 3 months, it definitely went down even more, and it became noticeably more natural. Especially compared to photos, it looks much more natural in real life, and the overall nose line feels neatly refined. Lately, I’ve been hearing so often that my side profile looks pretty, and that’s what I’m most satisfied with. Before surgery, I often heard that I looked young, but now I hear more that I look mature and that I’ve become prettier in a sophisticated way. I also often hear that my overall image has changed. The surgery I had was short nose correction + bulbous nose correction + osteotomy + autologous costal cartilage. My nose was originally small and low, so I thought it wouldn’t become much higher even after surgery, but I’m even more satisfied because it was made into a pretty line that isn’t overdone. After rhinoplasty, I’ve gained a lot of confidence, and since people around me keep only telling me that I’ve gotten prettier, doing makeup has become more fun and looking in the mirror has become enjoyable too. Now that I’m at 3 months, I naturally think, “Ah, I really made a good choice getting rhinoplasty,” and right now I feel truly proud of the result.
