Writing a review of my bulbous nose + short nose surgery. My nasal bridge was extremely low, and my nasal tip was basically at the level of looking like someone had just pressed it down lol. I think a man’s nose is everything, but mine was, well... anyway, that’s why I got nose surgery. I wanted a clearly defined T-zone and a nose line that extended straight, and for the nasal tip, you know that wannabe look men want, where it’s neatly refined and slim. Just exactly a handsome nose... that kind of feel... During the pre-op consultation, I was told that because my columella was short and my nostrils were also on the small side, a completely dramatic change would be difficult. So I went into surgery just hoping it would be better than before, but it came out way better than expected. Agree?? When I look at my pre-op nose and then my current nose, I almost wonder how this is possible lol. Since it was a bulbous nose, I was worried it might look artificial, but the line was refined without being excessive, so my satisfaction is genuinely high. The stuffy-looking feeling from the front is gone too, and the side line also falls cleanly in a straight line, so I’ve been hearing that I look handsome from the side lol ahem lol. Before, maybe because of my nose, I often heard that I looked young for my age, like a kid, but now I’m hearing a lot that I look much more masculine overall, which feels good. Oh, and for reference, about swelling: for me, the swelling was pretty severe until about 2 weeks after surgery, so I went for walks every day and really made sure to drink pumpkin juice, eat pumpkin porridge, and drink swelling-reduction tea and stuff lol. After that, it started going down steadily, and now at 3 months, it feels like it has completely settled.
