I’m 5 months post-op after full nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage. Leaving aside how hard it feels, I think my nasal tip has gotten thinner. Can autologous costal cartilage also break through like an L-shaped silicone implant? It seems like the nasal tip is gradually showing through whitishly, and it’s pointy and firm. I’m so anxious. Do I need to remove it? The surgery was expensive too.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
