I had nose surgery 12 years ago, and I’m posting because I’m thinking about removal these days. Silicone was used for the nasal bridge, septal cartilage was used for the nasal tip, and they said they would use ear cartilage if there wasn’t enough, but in the end they didn’t use ear cartilage. 1. Since a few years ago, the area above the left nasal tip, maybe the nasal ala, occasionally turns red. But after a few hours or by the next day it gets better, and rather than pain, it feels itchy. I thought about going to the hospital, but since it kept getting better, I just let it pass. Could inflammation be appearing? 2. Inside the left nostril, the mucous membrane around the columella is white and hard…
