It was raised with ear cartilage, and it’s been exactly 3 months. They said that while osteotomizing the hump, they also cut out and discarded part of my septal cartilage… Mesh was used as the support strut, and because it’s mesh I feel anxious, so I decided to remove it. They said there won’t be any cartilage repositioning or septal reinforcement during removal. They said there’s nothing they can really do. In short, they’ll do a minimal incision and only remove the mesh plate, and they said the surgery time is 1 hour. I’ve searched, but there don’t seem to be many cases where only the support strut was removed ㅜㅜ Is it common to remove the support strut without reinforcing the septum? Can it still not collapse after that…
