When I sleep lying on my left side, my left nostril gets blocked, and when I sleep lying on my right side, I wake up with my right nostril blocked. Could it be that my nasal septum has become too weak and keeps tilting? Is there anyone like me who has trouble breathing because their nose gets blocked depending on their sleeping position? I had septal extension with costal cartilage grafted on both sides, so I wonder if it’s because of the weight of this costal cartilage If I have it removed, I’m so scared that the nasal septum will collapse because it has no support. Then saddle nose would happen, and then I’d have no choice but to keep the costal cartilage grafted on, so I’m really worried whether I’ll just have to keep enduring that foreign-body sensation.
