I’m one week after nose surgery. I had a hump shaved down a bit, septal cartilage and MegaDerm placed on the nasal bridge, and a cat-line surgery lifting the nasal tip with a septal strut and ear cartilage. I’m still in the recovery period, but I didn’t look into the surgery enough, and I don’t want problems to come up later, so I want to remove everything. But I’m worried the septum might collapse. From what I read, I think I saw a post saying that very early after surgery, before the septal cartilage hardens, it can be put back in its original position. But I also saw posts saying early removal is too dangerous, so which is right? I don’t want any functional problems with my nose, and as for the shape, honestly, the columella …
