Hello! On March 13 of this year, I had double jaw surgery + 2 types of facial contouring (square jaw, chin) with SSRO at an oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic! It has now been about 6 months since the surgery, so following my previous review, I’ll share how things have been since then :)
Honestly, from around 3 months onward, I think I lived really well without any discomfort or events, to the point where it felt like I was completely healed(?) now. I only had to pay a bit of attention by going to the clinic about once a month to have my braces checked and the wire changed? Of course, my occlusion still does not fit perfectly, so chewing food is a little difficult, but I can feel my bite gradually coming together. And now that half a year has passed since surgery, there is truly no food I can’t eat, and I can open my mouth as much as I could before surgery. Now the swelling seems to have completely gone down too, and I often newly realize that my face has definitely become much slimmer... I really think once again that I’m glad I had the surgery, and I’m very grateful to Director Lee Seok-jae....ㅠㅠ Anyway, these days I’m spending such happy days that I wonder how I used to live back when it hadn’t been long since the surgery haha If anyone reading this has not been long out from surgery yet, I want to say that pain, discomfort, and hunger are momentary, but happiness and satisfaction last forever, so you just need to hang in there a little longer...!
