About 10 years ago, I had my second closed rhinoplasty. I recently found out that at the time, the director put in Medpor and operated without discussing it with me. About 6 years ago, something white that looked like cartilage was visible on my nasal mucous membrane and it stung, so I went to the clinic and asked, “Isn’t this cartilage?” They said it just needed to be stitched, so they stitched it, but even then I had never heard that Medpor had been used. Recently, while looking into a second revision surgery, I went around to different clinics, and one clinic told me to ask what material had been put inside my nose, so I called and asked. A desk staff member? answered the phone, and when I explained the whole situation, they said there were no records because it had been too long. They just flat-out said there were none, so I called the public health center, and they said records have to be kept for 10 years. So I called the clinic again, and after looking, they said they did have them. They were explaining things, then told me to speak directly with the director? So I talked to the director, and I wasn’t even sure if he properly remembered me.. Anyway, he said it was true that Medpor was used, and he kept saying the same thing while using English terms like alar cartilage separation, alar cartilage this and that, so I said I’d call again if I had more questions and hung up. I’m having my second revision surgery this week.. I wanted to know more precisely what this director put in my nose and what surgery he performed, so I called today to try to go in and hear it in person, and the same staff member who answered before asked if I was the person who had called earlier, and said the director went overseas and would come back around next week... lolololololol My surgery is this week though lololol I asked them to at least give me the records, and they said they couldn’t because the director wasn’t there, so I said okay and just went there without a plan.. But I don’t know if it’s fortunate or not, but the nurse who was at the desk when I had surgery about 10 years ago was still there. I asked her roughly, and it seemed like they had done Medpor + ear cartilage + silicone + alar cartilage positioning, etc. I didn’t hear it directly and accurately from the director, but I’ll at least pass this information on when I have the revision surgery.. It’s in a provincial area, really on the outskirts, not famous at all, and actually a clinic nobody knows. I went there just because it was close to my house, without doing any online research or in-person consultations at all. So everyone, there’s absolutely nothing for you to worry about! I just suddenly got so annoyed that I wrote this. Even without me saying it, everyone here would choose clinics more carefully and cautiously, but I really hope you make sure to ask about the materials and then use them. Anyway, I wasn’t able to meet the director and hear exactly what was put where and how, so would that matter a lot for my second revision surgery....?
익명 Huh...? The surgical record should already have been written, so shouldn’t they be able to issue it even if the doctor isn’t there...?? Try calling the public health center or police station and asking about this too
익명 For surgical records, you don’t need the doctor’s approval or permission or any of that They have to issue them as they are. Why are they saying they can’t give you the records because the doctor isn’t there.... Are they trying to alter them.... It’s a violation of the Medical Service Act
