<After><Before>The first reason I decided to have double-jaw surgery was that my facial asymmetry bothered me a lot every time I smiled or took photos, and the second reason was that my long face and cheekbones were becoming more prominent as I got older, so I decided I should have both double-jaw and facial contouring surgery before it got any later haha I had consultations at a total of 3 hospitals, and the oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic was the last consultation hospital. Since I wanted postoperative orthodontic treatment, the two hospitals I consulted before said postoperative orthodontic treatment would be possible if we pushed it a little, but at this oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic, after looking at my condition, they said we should do surgery safely after 4 months of preoperative orthodontic treatment. That made me feel they cared much more about safety than the previous two hospitals, so I chose this oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic. Also, every time I visited, I saw not only many domestic patients but also many foreign patients, so it seemed like a famous hospital that people even come to from overseas, which made me trust it more. They treated me kindly every time I visited, so I felt good and decided right away!! [Surgery progress] Day of surgery to week 2 On the first day after surgery, I was worried about breathing, but it was better than I expected, and waking up from anesthesia was harderㅠ After waking up from anesthesia, I was just sleepy all day, and I woke up often at night and felt uncomfortable. On day 2, breathing became a little easier, and I could now drink water well too! On day 3, breathing improved a lot, and I recovered fast enough to be discharged. On day 4, I had cold-like throat symptoms and nasal congestion, and there was discomfort while removing the tape, but it gradually improved!! On day 5, swelling was severe, but I used a humidifier to help with nasal congestion, managed the swelling, and paid attention to moisturizing. On day 6, the swelling went down a little more, and for the first time I felt tooth sensitivity. On day 7, the swelling in the philtrum went down a lot, and I had no problem sleeping while lying down. From week 2, I could put on and remove the wafer, and the range of foods I could eat expanded. From week 3, a lot of the swelling went down, so I think I can go out without a mask^^ Currently at 3 months There is still a lot of swelling on the cheek area next to my nose, so I'm waiting for it to go down quickly
